The image STRONG WOMEN addresses three themes that allow women like Saint Elisabeth to be convincingly experienced.
The first theme addresses reverence and humility towards fellow human beings, nature and God as their creator.
The second theme shows the greatness of soul that is ready to be there for one's neighbour, to share with them, to clear up inconsistencies, to forgive and to show leniency towards those who have fallen. The third theme deals with joy as the result of inner and outer peace, of helping and being considerate, as well as Internalizing the Golden Rule.
The sisters in the convent, the doctors and the nursing staff at St Elisabeth Hospital need to take these three themes to heart. Strong women and men are a foundation of St Elisabeth.
As part of an event, the employees of St Elisabeth left their thoughts and feelings as traces on YOLY's archetype.
YOLY then incorporated all of this into her final painting, which was intended for the hospital's public spaces.
